Green Scholarship Program works in Los Cabos, Mexico providing university scholarships to young high achieving students. Since we were founded in 2006, we have assisted over 140 scholars. For example, just last year we helped Alejandra Plasencia graduate from university. A couple of months after graduating Alejandra told us “Now that I am a graduate of the program and that I found a job in which I feel fulfilled I realize how important it is to value the opportunities that arise in life and how important it is as well to be thankful. I will always be grateful for having been part of the GSP. I hope the GSP family continues growing and touching the lives of many other young adults in order for them to receive an opportunity like the one that was presented to me.”

Just recently, the GlobalGiving Foundation selected us to participate in its Accelerator, a fundraising opportunity for nonprofit organizations around the world.

In order to succeed, we must raise $5,000 from 40 donors by June 26th. If we meet this mark, we will be permanently featured on GlobalGiving’s website, where we have the potential to benefit from corporate relationships, exposure to a new donor network, and access to dozens of online fundraising tools.
