This October, the Green Scholarship Program (GSP) invites the Los Cabos community and supporters everywhere to participate in Auction for Education 2026, a fully online fundraising event created to help young people continue their university education or vocational development.
Participate Online from October 1–12, 2026
The Auction for Education 2026 will take place online from October 1 through October 12, 2026.
Participation is simple:
- Follow the Green Scholarship Program’s social media channels on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Stay tuned for the official auction opening.
- Use the registration and participation link, which will be shared soon.
- Explore the prizes and take part in an initiative that supports education in Los Cabos.
The auction will make it possible for more people to participate, regardless of where they are located. Every action contributes to a shared purpose: helping young people prepare for productive, conscious, and educated lives within their communities.

Every Contribution Creates Opportunity
The Green Scholarship Program is a nonprofit organization based in Los Cabos. Its mission is to support young people in their advanced education or vocational development through scholarships, English classes, professional preparation, and life skills seminars.
To date, GSP has supported 243 young people through university education and vocational training.
The organization’s support goes beyond tuition assistance. On average, each student receives:
- 250 hours of English classes per year
- 20 hours of life skills seminars per year
- Comprehensive guidance throughout their educational journey
- Access to additional development opportunities and support
This holistic approach helps students strengthen their academic preparation, communication skills, confidence, and ability to contribute to the future of Los Cabos.

The Leadership Program
The Green Scholarship Program’s Leadership Program provides comprehensive scholarship support for young people pursuing university education or vocational development.
Scholarships are awarded through an annual recruitment process. Participants must meet the established selection criteria and demonstrate commitment to their education and personal growth.
The program combines financial assistance with practical and personal development. Students receive support designed to help them advance academically while building the skills needed to participate positively in their families, workplaces, and communities.
Through English instruction, life skills seminars, guidance, and educational support, the program helps students move toward greater independence and professional opportunity.
The Marine and Coastal Sciences Program
The Marine and Coastal Sciences Program supports students pursuing careers in Marine Biology or Environmental Sciences at UABCS in Baja California Sur.
This program responds to the importance of preparing professionals who understand and care for the marine and coastal environments that are central to the identity and future of the region.
Students in the program receive the broader benefits of GSP support, including:
- Tuition assistance
- English classes
- Life skills seminars
- Transportation support
- Emotional and educational guidance
- Additional support connected to their academic development
By supporting students in marine and environmental fields, GSP contributes to the preparation of professionals who can help protect and strengthen the natural resources of Southern Baja California.
